We make this possible through various groups within the church. Each of these groups minister to the total person. B.E.A.T. (Bible Enrichment And Training) -
Most are familiar with Sunday School. Bible Enrichment and Training takes Sunday School of the past and integrates modern approaches. There are classes for every age group. Rather than the typical "teacher", your class will have a facilitator that serves to guide the group through an insightful process of biblical discovery and personal deliverance. As we say at Friendship, it's time to "Step to the B.E.A.T." and get in rhythm with what God is doing in and through your life.
Teaching Godly principles about the role of the male in the home, in the church, and in the community. Also provides fellowship activities throughout the month for the men of the church. Such activities include sports gatherings, cookouts, camping and fishing trips, community improvement, etc.
Providing spiritual support to singles (never married, divorced, widowed) through bible-based teachings. This is a group of high spirited, fun-loving, and God fearing people who are trusting God and making the most of life.
Provides married and engaged relationships with spiritual and encouraging support, bible-based teachings, and fellowship activities. The goal is to support the plan for the family as stated in the word of God.
As a vital part of the church, this ministry assists the Pastor in providing Pastoral care and support to the congregation. Each individual and family of the congregation is assigned to a Deacon of the church. In times of need, concern, sickness, etc. these men have been trained and equipped to assist you in that time. Though this ministry does not replace the Pastor having interaction with EVERY member, it does provide an effective way to ascertain that every member of our family receives strong and consistent support.
E.T.F. (Evangelistic Task Force) -
This is a vital ministry that helps us to pursue and engage in the great commission of our Lord as uttered in Matthew 28:18-20. The E.T.F. ministry is responsible for planning and implementing witnessing activities throughout the community on a monthly basis.
Youth activities that include, bible-based studies, drama and praise dance, tutoring programs, monthly recreational outings, and spiritual and social growth instruction.
This is a coordinated effort with members of all ages whose purpose is to give worship expression through dance, drama, and drill.
This represents the music ministry of our church. This ministry is responsible for leading the congregation in praise, hyms and spiritual worship. They also take upon themselves the task of ministering through song whenever called upon.
Spiritual Parent -
A component of the New Members Orientation program which reaches out to new members by pairing them with a committed member for a six week time period.
A ministry that is committed to graciously greeting, directing and assisting worshippers during praise services.
Providing bible-based teaching, fellowship, in-reach and outreach to women throughout the community as well as praying, witnessing and encouraging other women of F.B.C.

At "The Ship" we are attempting to offer God a people that are "equipped for the work of ministry" (Ephesians 4:12) This becomes possible as we move from the pew to participation.
NO!!! We don't believe that we are the "frozen chosen" but have been "saved to serve."
